Pet training is the use of behaviour analysis with triggers and consequences to change a pet’s behaviour, either to assist in certain activities or to perform specific tasks as part of the domestication process. This course covers all the areas of pet training including pet psychology and behaviour, pet communication, types of breeds with specifications, safe games, pet hygiene and grooming, pet mental health, and pet first aid.
Our primary responsibility as a trainer will be to teach clients how to train themselves. That means pet trainers must be motivated to shape their abilities and reinforce their successes. Those trainers will then teach obedience and discipline to pets in order to improve the relationships between animals and people. They not only teach pets how to behave, but they also show owners how to control and properly care for their pets.
