Demonstrate your ability to work in a school environment by taking the Working in Schools Environment at QLS Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Assistant. This course is the perfect fit if you wish to establish or progress in a teaching assistant career and would like to improve your eligibility to land a rewarding job role in a school setting. The course is very insightful and easy to follow and is comprised of dozens of chapters that will train you on how to work as a teaching assistant in a school setting. You will learn how to work with teachers, children, young people, parents and other adults in a school environment and the responsibilities and duties that naturally fall on you.

First off, this course will generously explore the different types of schools in relation to educational stages and school governance. You will then move onto gain a more in-depth knowledge of schools by delving into the purpose of school governors, senior management teams, SENco, teachers and other support staffs seen generally across schools.

The course will also give due focus to chapters that will show you how the ethos, mission, aims and values a school may reflect in working practices and how different legislations and regulations affect schools and their functioning to gain an advantage over the others.

The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.  The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.

  • The course is suitable for learning support staff like teaching assistants and learning support assistants who want to contribute to learning activities while working alongside a classroom teacher.
  • Learners must be over the age of 19 and have a basic understanding of Maths, English and ICT.
  • An endorsed training at Level 2 or above in any discipline.

This online course is assignment-based with learners being assessed upon the submission of a series of assignments. Once you successfully submit the assignments, students will gain a professional training. The assignments must be submitted to the instructor through the online learning portal. The assignments will be reviewed and evaluated, with feedback provided to the student on how well they have fared.

Please Note: Additionally, a total of £69 is charged for the assessment and certificate, and you need to pay that when submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially upon registering). This payment can be made in 02 instalments.
